Study visit  'New media in education and professional development of librarians'
in OEIiZK in Warsaw


Ability to use new media in education and professional training of librarians is the subject of the study visit, which will be held from 14 - 18 May 2012 in Warsaw.
Participants will be librarians from France, Spain, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Italy, Slovenia, Slovakia, United Kingdom, Iceland, Netherlands–Aruba and Romania.
Librarians will learn about the specific work of various types of libraries and multicentrum in Warsaw. They will learn how future librarians are trained in the application of new technologies and will improve their skills in this area. They will take part in workshops presenting the application of an e-learning platform.
The organizer of the visit is The Computer Assisted Education  and Information Technology Center in Warsaw (OEIiZK). Co-organizer of the visit is the Foundation for the Development of Education in Warsaw.
